The beginning of summer means the extension of hours for a local tourist attraction. The Lewis and Clark Confluence Tower has begun operating on a summer schedule, which means the facility will be open seven days a week. The tower will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon until 5 p.m. on Sundays.
Deanna Barnes, Project Manager for the Village of Harford, says the extended hours will allow them to better accommodate tourists in the area.
