The Village of Bethalto will be resuming free computer classes offered in years past after receiving a grant from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. The classes are designed to teach attendees the basics of web browsing, word processing and other introductory skills. Mayor Alan Winslow says it's a great way for residents to increase their computer literacy.

The first class will be offered from 5:30 to 7pm on September 18, with another one to follow at 7:15.  One change to note however, if that they will be held in a new location. Winslow says the classes will be held at the Old Village Water Building located at 209 Oak Street. For more information about the classes call Bethalto Village Hall at 377-8051.
