The La Vista CSA is preparing for its 10th season this year and is currently seeking additional members. The Community Supported Garden located at the Oblate Novitiate in Godfrey started with only a few rows, but now has expanded to several acres, with the possibility that a few more could be added if there is interest during the membership drive.

Eric Stevens is the head farmer and is beginning his 3rd season. He says growing vegetables in this area is ideal with great soil and usually good weather. Deer and other critters will always be a challenge:
