You can tour replicas of Christopher Columbus’ ships the “Pinta” and the “Niña,” this week in Grafton.  The ships will be docked near the Loading Dock through June 5, leaving early the morning of June 6.  For a fee, you can take a walk-aboard, self-guided tour every day of the week from 9am to 6pm.

Grafton Mayor Tom Thompson tells The Big Z the ships have proven to be a popular attraction over the years.

The Niña was built completely by hand and without the use of power tools.  The Pinta was built in Brazil to accompany the Niña on all of her travels as sailing museums.   Tours are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for students 5-18.  Children 4 and under are free.
