A Colorado man is facing felony charges in Madison County after he allegedly stole nearly $900 in merchandise from Godfrey Wal-Mart. The Madison County Sheriff's Office reports that 22-year old Troy E. Linnebur of Colorado Springs, Colorado allegedly pushed a cart containing $876.00 in merchandise past all points of sale without attempting to make a payment around 12:30 p.m. Thusday. He was confronted by a loss prevention officer while attempting to exit the store, at which time he abanonded the cart and fled to the parking lot and drove away. A deputy located the suspect vehicle and took Linnebur into custody at 1:43 p.m. on the parking lot of Regions Bank in Godfrey. He was transported to the Madison County Jail and subsequently charged with felonty retial theft of over $300.00. He is being held on $15,000 bond,
