If you aren't signed up for an early warning system for all Madison County residents, emergency responders say there's no time like the present.  "Code Red" was first introduced to the area several years ago.  Its effectiveness in warning subscribers of eminent danger is well documented, and Madison County took over local oversight of the program a few years ago.

Mary Kate Brown, Deputy Directory of Madison County Emergency Management, tells The Big Z you can update your information on an as-needed basis.
