The Drug Free Alton Coalition continues its efforts to educate area youth to the dangers of drug use and underage drinking. Getting the youth involved in finding solutions is a key to making their efforts stick, according to organizers, and plans are coming together for the Youth Speak Out in April.
The event will be held April 22. Melanie Nagel, Project co-coordinator, says having the youth involved has shown results.
