Friday will mark the 5th anniversary of the Metro East Air & Health Forum and its numerous efforts to make the air around town cleaner. The event held in Caseyville highlights the impacts of air quality on health, while showcasing the various entities in the Metro East that have emerged as leaders in their efforts to improve regional and local air quality.
Leah Dettmers, Madison County Economic Development Specialist, tells The Big Z this is a day to recognize those making a positive change in air quality in the Metro East.
