Parking in downtown St. Louis on a Saturday will soon cost you money.  The city's Parking Division will begin handing out tickets for people parked at expired meters starting July 1st.  Warnings will be issued for the first two weeks after the change takes place.   The meter is 25-cents for every 15 minutes with a 2 hour time limit and will be enforced from 7am to 7pm. There is no enforcement of parking meter violations on Sunday.

A parking meter fine in St. Louis is typically $10.  City officials say they made the move to ensure parking regulations are consistent throughout the city.
