Wood River officials say the two new car-related businesses building a future on the east end of town shows the area is still ripe for development. Andy’s Tire & Auto Center announced on Z-1570 last week it was moving into the former Federico Chrysler building, and progress continues on a new building for Jack Schmitt Chevrolet near Shop ‘N Save. Both will be opening this year.
City Manager Jim Schneider says that end of town has seen a boom in development in recent years. He believes Andy’s will be a nice addition.
