A major fundraiser for a local church is being held Saturday from 10am to 2pm. Resurrection Lutheran Church in Godfrey is holding its second annual Spring One Stop Shop, which organizers say was a big enough success that it warranted a second go-around. The primary purpose of the event is to raise money for several different charities, including the Crisis Food Center in Alton.
Event organizer Stacey Loveland says there is ample parking for the large crowd expected.
There will be booths that cater to a variety of tastes, from uniquely flavored popcorn, to cosmetics, to custom jewelry. The Resurrection Lutheran Church is located where Delmar Avenue and the Homer Adams Parkway converge, just west of Pierce Lane.
