This year's Christmas Wonderland display in Alton's Rock Spring Park is apparently a go.  A volunteer recruitment meeting was held last week, and the results were encouraging enough that the Grandpa Gang, which creates the display each year, has begun moving its displays to the park in preparation of the 2016 season.

Grandpa Gang interim leader Al Cowgill tells The Big Z it was a story we aired a couple of weeks ago that apparently stirred new interest in volunteering.

Cowgill says he hopes with the new volunteers they will be able to carry on the tradition next year.  He says more volunteers are always appreciated.  For more information, call 462-6255.
