The Christmas season is about to be in full swing. Tonight marks the opening of the Christmas Wonderland display at Rock Spring Park. Gates open at 6pm. The light display at the park has been going strong for more than two decades with gates opening this evening at six.
The "Grandpa Gang" hung about two and a half million lights again for this years display, and the attractions have been freshened up too, according to Grandpa Gang leader Bob Osburn. He says opening night is usually one of their busiest:

The cost to see the display is $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers. The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5-9 p.m. on the weekends. The annual walk-though night is scheduled for Monday, December 1, and will cost $1 per person.
