The Christmas season is about to be in full swing.  Tonight marks the opening of the Christmas Wonderland display at Rock Spring Park.  The light display at the park has been going strong for more than two decades with gates opening this evening at 6:00.

The "Grandpa Gang" hung about two and a half million lights again for this years display, and the attractions have been freshened up too, according to Grandpa Gang leader Bob Osburn.  He tells The Big Z one of the new displays is tied to one of the more popular movies of the past couple of years

The cost to see the display is $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers.  The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5-9 p.m. on the weekends through December 27. 

The annual walk-though night is scheduled for Monday, November 30, from 6-9pm, and will cost $1 per person.
