The Grandpa Gang is ready to flip the switch at Alton's Rock Spring Park to light the lights for the Christmas Wonderland light display. Starting tonight, you will be able to drive through the park and see the millions of lights, as well as take the kids to visit Santa, and maybe take a carriage ride.
Bob Osburn is head of the Grandpa Gang. He says they have added an old display to the attractions they erect each year.
The annual walk-thru night will be held on Monday, December 2, for just a dollar admission per person. No vehicles will be allowed that night. The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5-9 p.m. on the weekends. The cost to see the display is still $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers.
