The 100 Black Men of Alton Golf Classic is coming up in less than a month, and organizers are urging participants to get their registration in early. It's being held at the Rolling Hills Golf Course on May 7 and the entry list is filling up, so organizers say if you want to get a team in the tournament, act fast.

President Michael Holliday Sr. says it's a 4-person scramble, and it's one of their biggest fundraisers of the year.

Holliday comments

It's an 11am shotgun start. There will be a hole-in-one contest, skins game, longest drive contest, and closest to the pin competition. The $125 entry fee includes lunch & dinner, range balls, green fees and a cart. For more information or to register, call 462-8150.
