Authorities have filed charges against a man who is believed to have been involved in an attempted burglary in Wood River on Thursday. Police believe 31-year-old Brandon S. Tate of the 300 block of Prairietown Road in Dorsey was caught in the act by the homeowner, and then fled the scene on foot until police captured him a short time later.
Wood River Deputy Police Chief Dan Bunt tells The Big Z he was taken into custody just before the Alton Police K-9 arrived on the scene.
