Officials from the University of Illinois are considering a major revision to their student code that covers cheating. According to a report in the "News-Gazette" university leaders say these days students are tempted to cheat more than ever. Changes to the school's academic integrity section of the student code that are under consideration include expanding how punishment is carried out.
Officials say they'd also revise what is - and what isn't - considered cheating. The changes would likely be implemented next spring.
