Illinois' budget crisis is claiming another victim. Centerstone - a national behavioral health organization - will be consolidating its Jerseyville and Alton operations by the end of the month. Effective April 1, the Jerseyville office will be closed.
John Markley, CEO of Centerstone of Illinois tells The Big Z they are operating under the possibility a state budget may not be passed until after the fall election, and planning for the financial reality of such a scenario.

He says there will still be a presence in Jerseyville, providing residential, crisis, and community and school-based services in the Tri-County area of Jersey, Greene and Calhoun Counties.
