This is the 25th year for the Carlinville Christmas Market, and for the first time, the vendors will be set up indoors.  In past years, they would be under tents placed around the town square, but a combination of factors led to the decision to seek more shelter for them this year.

Pete Genta, Treasurer for the foundation that organizes this event, says there will still be activity on The Square:

And those buildings will be close to the square, according to Genta.  The Market runs from 3-9pm Friday and 9am-8pm on Saturday.  There will also be tours of some of the more historic places in town.  For more details, click on the link:
