The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to commit to being studied for 20 to 30 years.   The occasion is the Cancer Prevention Study 3, which researchers hope will find ways to prevent cancer.  “CPS 3 is looking to enroll 300,000 individuals nationwide, and we’ve made tremendous progress toward that goal, but we still need to enroll about 70,000 people, and our goal here in Illinois is to enroll 6,500 people, so we really need your help to make this happen,” said Claire Thibodeaux, president of the group’s leadership board.
