The former Godfrey Hardwoods on Humbert Road is being retooled into a business that refurbishes train and boat motor parts, and plans have been revealed that point to a long-term commitment to Godfrey. Hatch & Kirk currently has businesses in Houston and Seattle, but will be apparently closing its headquarters in Houston and moving those operations to Godfrey.
Godfrey Building and Zoning Administrator Laura Dixon tells The Big Z Hatch & Kirk may already be thinking bigger.

Dixon says Hatch & Kirk is expected to create 12 jobs right off the bat and the company just took out permits for the remodel.
