Businesses owners wanting to locate in Illinois would have an easier time finding the forms and information they need under provisions of a bill awaiting Governor Bruce Rauner’s signature.  Senate Bill 659 would create an online one-stop shop for anyone wanting to open their doors to customers in the state, according to State Representative Dan Beiser (D-Alton).

He says the bill has the support of the Small Business Advocacy Council and the National Federation of Independent Business.

The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity would need to compile and publish all state licensing materials and registration forms, links to important resources, helpful contacts, and information about state incentives at this new site, as well as update it on a yearly basis.
