The entry deadline for a competition showcasing budding entrepreneurs has been extended.  The SIUE 2015 Metro East Start-Up Challenge competition invites entrepreneurs, and startup businesses from four target industries: information technology, manufacturing, healthcare and food.  The challenge is organized by the Metro East Small Business Development Center.

Development Center Director Patrick McKeehan tells The Big Z they held the contest a little earlier in the year last year, but is looking forward to seeing what the entries consist of this year.
