With the spring-like weather over the weekend, some in the area got a little yard work done.  There were also a few yard and shed fires reported around the region, as it is believed in at least a few cases yard waste was being burned.  A local fire chief has a few reminders if you plan on doing any burning. 

In communities where it is allowed, residents are implored to use common sense.  Wood River Fire Chief Steve Alexander tells The Big Z a lot of fires spread either through inattention or a sudden gust of wind.
