A real estate broker with ties to Wood River is hoping to market some of the city's premium commercial properties.  Mike Kelly with NAI Desco says the available space at the EnviroTECH Business Park should be put to use, and he sees an opportunity to link the city with potential tenants.

The city's website describes the EnviroTECH Business Park as a place that provides light industry, warehousing, commercial or professional business space in a park with numerous amenities.  Kelly says if the council decides to work with him, there would be a variety of marketing tools available.

Kelly comments

The EnviroTECH Business Park is currently home to the city's composting facility, and offices for Olin Winchester and Crown Optical.  Kelly says there is also interest in marketing the lot that was at one time a trailer park on Edwardsville Road near Dairy Queen.  The city council will consider Kelly's proposal.
