The Independence celebrations continue tonight around the area with a fireworks display in Brighton.  The celebration in Brighton is relatively new, now in its fifth year, after several years of no official party.  The party begins at Schneider Park on Highway 267-111 at 5pm and concludes with fireworks at dusk.

Schneider Park Committee Chairman Michael Roberts tells The Big Z the family event is great for the town.
