Motorists intent on crossing the Mississippi River may encounter lane closures on both the Clark Bridge and the McKinley Bridge this week. An Illinois Department of Transportation spokesman says motorists should use caution when traveling near and throughout the work zones.
One lane of the Clark Bridge will be closed nearly every day this week, according to IDOT Engineer Ted Nemsky.
