Illinois Congressman Mike Bost (R-12th) is hosting a public forum for local residents to raise questions and concerns regarding the placement of the new National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's western headquarters.  There was a big bi-partisan push by Illinois concerns to lure the site to the Scott Air Force Base area, but a location in North St. Louis was the recommendation from the government earlier this spring.

While some may think it is a foregone conclusion that is where the facility will be located, Bost isn't ready to concede yet.

He says more than 1,000 letters have been submitted for public comment, expressing concern about the decision.  The final site selection is still due to be made by June 2nd, although Bost had requested a delay.

Today's forum will be held at 10am at the Katy Cavins Community Center in O'Fallon, IL.
