A bogus bomb threat was received at an Alton business this (Tuesday) morning.  According to a statement from the Alton Police Department, officers responded to Alton's Home Depot on Homer Adams Parkway at approximately 6:30, after receiving a bomb threat for the business.  Employees and customers were evacuated from the business while officers and managerial employees searched inside.

No suspicious items or obvious incendiary devices were located inside the business and once deemed safe, Home Depot reopened to the public.
