With construction nearly finished on the new math and social studies wing at Civic Memorial High School, school officials are now turning their attention to the other schools in the Bethalto school district. The board unanimously approved a measure last night that will include improvements for each of the other schools in the district.

No specific plans were mentioned by Superintendent Dr. Cindy Blasa, but she did say that they have identified areas of each building that will be improved to better meet the needs of students and faculty.

In other business, the board also voted to allow Business Manager Russ Clover to draft a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. He will likely present a rough draft of the budget at the July meeting.
