Patrik Berglund’s third period goal lifted the St. Louis Blues to a 2-1 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday afternoon. David Backes also scored for the ‘Note and Ryan Miller stopped 26 shots to help St. Louis improve to 43-14-6. P.A. Parenteau scored the lone goal for the Avs while Semyon Varlamov made 25 saves in the loss.
The Blues continue their road trip tonight when they face the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center. The puck drops at 7 p.m. in St. Paul, Minnesota.
