Rod Blagojevich is expected to make his final public comments today before heading to prison. The ex-Illinois governor was sentenced to 14 years behind bars last December for trying to sell President Obama's former U.S. Senate seat. Blagojevich has long declared his innocence but took responsibility for his actions after his conviction.
His statement is scheduled to be made at 5:02pm outside his Chicago residence. Blagojevich is scheduled to turn himself in to federal authorities tomorrow.
