The BethaltoSchool Districtis just about ready for the fall semester.  Classes begin next Tuesday, and students in some cases will have to get used to new surroundings.  The district went through a major undertaking over the summer, maintaining some schools and completely renovating others.


Some shuffling of students had to take place to most effectively teach the students, and now, they're ready for the start of school, according to Superintendent Cindy Blasa.

Bethalto East will hold Kindergarten and 1st grades, 2nd and 3rd grades at Parkside, and 4th and 5th graders will be housed at MeadowbrookSchool.  Middle schoolers will still be at Trimpe, and high schoolers are at Civic Memorial.  There are new class times at many of the schools, with the high school change the most dramatic, according to Blasa, from 8:35am- 3:20pm.  For a complete rundown of those new times, click here:
