A local lawmaker has been reappointed as Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation: Regulation, Roads and Bridges. State Representative Dan Beiser (D-Alton) was recently named to that position for the 3rd straight term. He tells The Big Z that his previous appointments played a major role in the completion of I-255 and that he hopes his reappointment leads to similar success for the Corridor 67 project. Beiser also says he will serve as an advocate for more than just the Corridor 67 project.
