An area infant is fighting a rare disease and his family is looking for help offsetting the medical costs. Calvin Moran was born in October of last year, and began having health issues about three weeks later. By the end of the year, he had been diagnosed with Eosinophilic Gastro Intestinal Disorder, or EGID. It is attaching to his intestines, and making the ingestion of food difficult..
Angie Moran, Calvin’s mother, says her son has been putting up a fight against the disease.
