A teacher at Alton Middle School is recovering from serious injuries and grieving the death of her husband. 29-year-old Sandy Nicolet survived the crash on the Great River Road on April 26 that took her husband Chad. You can help her family by attending a fundraiser Saturday at Spirits Lounge in Alton.
The fundraiser is an all day concert called Midwest Radfest. The event runs from 3pm-1am, and features a variety of musical genres. Alton Middle School principal Steve Sandbothe says her co-workers at the middle school are also offering their support.

If you can’t make it to the show, or don’t care to go to the concert, Sandbothe says you can donate at the school. For more information, click here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1428258600752934/
