Legislation is heading to the Governor's Desk that would allow Illinoisans to buy ammunition on line from Illinois suppliers. As of now, residents of the state can purchase the bullets on the Internet, as long as they find an out-of-state supplier to use, according to State Representative Dan Beiser of Alton

Beiser comments

The bill is an initiative of the National Rifle Association. The proposal will allow ammunition to be ordered from Illinois dealers by Illinois residents and makes the regulations for buyers, sellers and shippers of ammunition consistent in and out of Illinois.
