Ford Green has been a supporter of the Godfrey Park & Recreation Department since its inception, but he recently tendered his resignation after about 20 years of service to the community. In recognition of his years of work, the Village will dedicate one of it's new baseball diamonds in his name. The ceremony will be tomorrow morning at 9:30 at Glazebrook Park.

Several new baseball diamonds were created as a result of an expansion over the past year. Godfrey Mayor Mike McCormick says Green (pictured) has been a blessing to the community.
