The State Senate is considering a ban on the use of drones while hunting in Illinois. The measure is sponsored by Deerfield Senator Julie Morrison, who says it's about preserving the integrity of the sport.

A drone could still be used to find an animal that may have just been wounded, or to scout out a sight at least 24 hours before you hunt. The bill cleared a Senate committee and now awaits a vote on the Senate floor.
