If you order a used engine or transmission from SW Transmissions in Creve Coeur, Missouri, the Better Business Bureau says you may be setting yourself up for troubles.  The agency has taken a number of complaints recently, alleging the company has shipped wrong or broken engines or transmissions, delayed or refused to give refunds, failed to honor warranties, and seemed to intentionally frustrate and confuse customers who called with problems.

BBB Investigator Bill Smith tells The Big Z any time you buy used car parts you should do so cautiously.

The company is also going by other names that are similar to other respected and established businesses, so Smith says to look carefully at who you are dealing with if you decide to go with a used transmission or engine dealer.
