A group of local astronomy buffs are gearing up for the next meeting of their growing club. The Nature Institute in Godfrey has been hosting the events, and citizen-scientists of all ages gaze skyward, enjoying the various constellations, planets and other objects found in the night sky.

Eddie Agha is an amateur astronomer who has partnered with The Nature Institute. He talks about why their location makes a good spot.

Agha comments

The next meeting is March 15, at 6:30pm, and Agha says everyone is welcome. If you would like more information, call 467-2521.
