Madison County appointed three new associate judges in the Third Judicial Circuit on Friday. The Third Circuit judges voted to select Donald M. Flack, Maureen D. Schuette, and Luther W. Simmons to fill the three seats. Flack recieved his undergraduate degree from SIU Edwardsville in 1993 and his Juris Doctor in 1998 from SLU. He had been with the Third Judicial Circuit until failing to be re-appointed June 30th, 2015. Schuette received her undergraduate degrees from SIUE also in 1984 and her Juris Doctor in 1988 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma Washington. She currently runs a solo practice in Edwardsville. Simmons recieved his undergraduate degree in 1970 from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctor in 1974 from SLU. He is currently working with the Madison County's Public Defender's Office in Edwardsville.
