The Wood River Aquatic Center will open later this month, and crews are performing maintenance in preparation for the coming season.  In recent years the pool has been resurfaced, removing rough edges and splinters, and drains and pumps have been replaced.  Now, a major piece of the facility is being revamped.

Recreation Supervisor Jason Woody tells The Big Z the facility is getting a good cleaning and maintenance crews will be going to work.
