It’s Apple Fest weekend in Jerseyville, although the weekend has been pared down to just one day. The festival will be held at the Jersey County Historical Society grounds today from 9am-5pm, with the Bigfoot monster truck and various musical acts entertaining throughout the day.
There will also be games, face painting, balloon artists, tours of the buildings, craft booths and a quilt raffle. Society Secretary Shirley Scott tells The Big Z why the festival was turned into a one-day event.
