A new anti-fraud program with the Illinois Department of Employment Security is claiming a quick victory. The Interstate Claims Unit, in its first three months of existence, has prevented more than $1 million in fraudulent claims from going to 120 applicants. The problem here is that while you may be eligible for unemployment benefits from more than one state, you may collect from no more than one state.
