A central Illinois congressman said another round of health insurance rate increases on the horizon supports his call for repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Families in Illinois can expect to pay more for mandatory health insurance coverage, thanks to constraints from the Affordable Care Act, the Illinois Department of Insurance said. The DOI said rates are increasing in 2017, and in some cases significantly.
U.S. Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Taylorville, said the Affordable Care Act needs to be repealed and replaced.
