Anheuser-Busch InBev SA is now the world's largest brewer. The company has agreed to buy the remaining half of Corona maker Grupo Modelo. Analysts say the deal is worth more than 20-billion dollars in cash. Company officials say the purchase is a "natural step" for InBev, since it already owns half.
Grupo Modelo dominates the Mexican beer market and Corona Extra is the top-selling imported beer in the US. The agreement makes InBev the largest brewer in the world, with more than 47 billion in annual sales and 150-thousand employees in 24 countries.
