The Alton Visitor Center is now an official MetroTix outlet if you find yourself in Downtown Alton and in search of concert tickets for this summer’s Amphitheater concert season. The attraction to buying your tickets at the CVB office is the waiving of the convenience fee, which can range from $4-$5. Tickets for all major shows are on sale now.
Concert promoter Sam Foxman says it has been a wonderful experience helping take the facility to what many hope to be the next level.

Popular 90’s acts Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Uncle Cracker and Sister Hazel will be among the performers playing the Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater this year. The season, however, will be heavy on the country acts, with John Michael Montgomery headlining the Feed the Need concert on June 7, and Kenny Rogers on September 6. Regional artist The Tyler Filmore Band will headline the Fireworks Viewing Party on July 3.
