A decision on what to do, if anything, to the gym floor at Alton High School could be made by the end of the day. A week’s worth of basketball games have been moved to other locations due to water damage that was discovered early last week. One working theory is that a leak in the roof developed after the heavy snow from the previous week’s storm began to melt.
Alton High School Athletic Director Jeff Alderman says the floor has bubbled up.
